Aluth Awurudu Uthsawaya 2019 was successfully organized by QSUM to celebrate our Sinhala and Hindu New Year, which falls in the middle of April month. It is a peaceful festival, happily celebrated by the majority of Sri Lankans with great food, games, and rituals of goodwill. This event, which was initially started in 2018, had a very successful outcome and most of the QSUM members were highly anticipating the next event. The highlight of Aluth Auwurudu Uthsawaya 2019 celebration was an array of traditional as well as non-traditional games which enhanced unity and fun at play between our members. Also, the participants were greeted with delicious traditional Sri Lankan Food Table with Sweetmeats and special dishes which are an essential facet of the Sinhala and Tamil New Year.
