QSUM Get-Together is one of the glamorous event in the QSUM event calendar and it was last held on 12th May 2016 at the H Hotel in Dubai, UAE.  This event was filled with special invitees from various sectors, representatives from professional bodies related to quantity surveying and construction, and QSUM members in the UAE. 

Hon. Consul General of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka for Dubai and Northern Emirates in the UAE joined the event as the chief guest, while renowned chartered quantity surveyor, Emeritus Professor Mrs. Chithra Weddikkara was the Guest of Honour of this wonderful evening. Among special invitees, there were representatives from Sri Lankan Institute of Quantity Surveyors, Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors, Chartered Institute of Building, Sri Lankan Quantity Surveyors, and representatives from various leading organizations in the UAE construction industry.

Sohan Weerasinghe, Jude De Silva, and Jayantha Dissanyaka, famous musicians in Sri Lanka, specially flew for this event from Colombo and amused the gathering with Sri Lankan QS music band.
