A CPD Workshop organized by QSUM-UAE Chapter was successfully conducted by Mr. Prasanna Pushpajith MSc., Dip Surv., FRICS, FAIQS, AIQS(SL) on 15th August 2014 at the Business Village, Dubai, UAE. QSUM-UAE Chapter is pleased to announce that there was overwhelming participation of more than 150 Sri Lankan Quantity Surveyors practicing in the UAE to this CPD session.

The practical application of Preliminary Estimating Methods and Cost Planning of Buildings was analyzed and explained in this CPD session using the vast experience of the speaker in the relevant field. The utilization of the last hour of the session to have a workshop on the preparation of a cost plan based on a case study was instrumental for the better understanding of the subject by the audience.
