Ape Gee Pedura is one of the major events in the QSUM calendar organized to entertain an erudite Sri Lankan audience with a soothing session of classical tunes accompanied by enchanting narrations of the underlying meaning of each song by a well-known lyricist, which is a brand new experience in the UAE. It presents the audience with a refreshing experience and a magnificent opportunity to enjoy classical music at a whole new level with their families and loved ones. 

Ape Gee Pedura - 2017 was successfully held at Dubai College Auditorium on 29th September 2017 for the fourth consecutive year after receiving enormous positive feedback in previous years. Over 600 classical music lovers comprising of QSUM members, their families, and multi-industrial professionals who reside in the UAE witnessed the event.

Mr. Edward Jayakody, Mr. Karunarathna Divulgane, and Mrs. Umaria Sinhawansa performed during the event while Mr. Rathna Sri Wijesinghe laid the foundations for the event with his deep understanding of Sinhala language, analytical knowledge to bring out the chronicles behind the songs in easy to digest language. Akanita, the UAE based Sri Lankan orchestra provided musical amusement under the direction of Mr. Nalaka Anjana Kumara for the event.
